About Adam…

I’m a parttime landscape photographer based in New Jersey, but as you can probably guess at this point, I typically prefer to shoot elsewhere — the American southwest, northern Europe, and South America have been recent favorite locations. I’m an avid hiker and adventurer, and strongly believe that the best photographs are rarely captured from the parking lot. The harder the climb, the better the view… and the more impactful images.

The best piece of creative advice I’ve ever received was from my grandmother, a renown portrait and watercolor painter: “Whatever you do, never become too artistically constipated.” In other words, avoid complacency and don’t be afraid to experiment with new creative techniques. Taking that advice to heart, my style of landscape photography has been eclectic, as I’ve shot everything from grand vistas to smaller, intimate scenes. Although lately I have gravitated towards more simplistic, abstract, and minimal compositions. Clean lines, negative space, and subtle color palettes tend to resonate with me most.

I’m lucky enough to share this life with an amazing wife (Liz) and a golden/lab mix dog (Sophie) — both of whom love traveling and hiking as much as I do, fortunately.

Thanks so much for visiting, and please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or feedback.
